How long do eye exams take?

Do you offer emergency eye care?
Yes, Heffington’s provides emergency eye care with “front-of-the-line” service for urgent eye care needs.
What is your dry eye treatment like?
Heffington’s specializes in diagnosing and treating dry eye conditions using various treatment options, including all the following:
- Cleansers to maintain clean eyelids and clear meibomian glands
- Manual expression of meibomian glands after thermal heating
- Special devices that apply gentle heat to improve eye oil quality and remove inflammation
- Handheld devices for targeted treatment of blocked glands

Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we do accept walk-ins. However, calling ahead to schedule an appointment is highly recommended to limit your wait time. You can also schedule an appointment online.

Do you provide safety glasses for businesses?
Yes, Heffington’s provides employer-covered eyewear, especially safety glasses, through contract orders for manufacturing companies. We work with local businesses to provide safety eyewear for employees.
Can you repair broken glasses?
Yes, we offer emergency eyeglass repairs. With the manufacturing technology in our optical lab, we can repair almost anything that is wrong with your glasses. If your glasses are broken or need an adjustment, simply bring them by either of our clinics and we will do our best to fix them.
